Brief History of Daughter’s of Light
Daughter's of Light society, St. Paul's Anglican church,Oke Afa, Lagos was inaugurated on 30th September, 2002 by Rev. Canon Goodhope I . Kanu.
Under the inspiration of God, the society was founded by Mrs Ijeoma M.C. Enekwa of Archbishop Vinning Memorial Cathedral Church AVMCC, Ikeja,Lagos.
The society has a forty two membership strength of like minded ladies who have decided to serve God with their time,talent and treasure.
Our Mission
To be self -reliant and disciplined ladies who will be able to contribute meaningfully to the society and win souls for Christ.
Our Vision
To propagate the gospel of God by lighting up our life and that of others.
Our Recurring Programs
- Monthly statutory meetings holds every last Saturday of the month
- Annual Retreat: Holds every 3rd Saturday in the month of March
- Anniversary/Annual Thanksgiving holds every last Sunday in September
