AYF
Brief History of AYF
The Anglican Youth Fellowship of SPACO is as old as the church herself because the fellowship started functioning and inaugurated almost as the church was formed in the year 1980.
Mr John Ugwunne was the person who procured the first local instrument set to the church through the fellowship, other members were the late bro Chihuike Chimadu who doubled as the leader and the Church choir mast r through the year 1961 -1991.
Being the only evangelical group at inception ,the fellowship at then lived up to her aims and objectives by bringing up the young ones to the knowledge of God, train and give them recreation for their physical development and their spiritual support and needs, supports the needy, assist the elderly and champion the evangelical works of the church.
The fellowship was very much instrumental in establishing some other evangelical groups in the church as a good number of other group and societies leaders passed through the fellowship.
Over the years the fellowship has been in the fore front in engineering evangelical works of the church. The fellowship organised crusades and revivals during which notable men of God has been invited such like Rtd, Rt.
